Achievements:

One could never have fore-seen that from our FIRST litter of Golden Retrievers  that Baradav Hot Gossip or as she is known “Pebbles” (s.Ch Dobro Colonial Boy d. Ch Elbadari Freij Zandra) born 16th August 2001 – one of 5 girls & 3 boys – would be so bright.
Pebbles gained her first and only challenge points (19pts) as a Junior (17months) – BCC, Runner Up Best of Breed & Junior of Breed at The Adelaide Hills Kennel Club Show – Judge Ms C Cederman (New Zealand)
The conformation ring was not her forte but Pebbles achievements have been in the whelping box producing 5 Champions from 3 litters these being:-Litter 1. -(S.Ch Erinderry Firecracker of Glenavis d.. Baradav Hot Gossip)
produced: Ch Baradav Dream Come True – Gypsy
Ch Baradav Darwinrocca – Rocca

Pebbles is also the proud grand mother of two show Champions –

Ch Baradav Iwoodream “Jarra” – son of  (s.Ch Goldfleece Knock on Wood (AI) d. Ch Baradav Dream Come True)

and

Ch Baradav Like Your Style (ai) “Penny” – daughter of (s.Ch Dream Max Drangmother’s Prospect (imp Swe) d. Ch Baradav Framed In Gold.

In Obedience “Zoe” – Baradav Inca Star daughter of  (s.Ch Goldfleece Knock on Wood (AI) d. Ch Baradav Dream Come True) has gained the following Obedience Titles -CD & ET

We look foward to the continued success of her descendants. Currently Australian Champion Baradav Flying Solo – “Solo” is over half way towards gaining the required 1000 points to become a Grand Champion.

In July 2008 Pebbles moved from our home to live at BOANDIK LODGE in Mount Gambier where she is the “live in” Pets as Therapy for the residents. The residents love her and take her for walks, groom her & give her lots of cuddles. Even though for us it was a heart wrenching decision, to see the positive outcome for the residents is rewarding to say the least.
